Healthy living

So this past week both Payton and Noah have been so sick. It is so frustrating because it feels like it is non-stop. If one is not sick then other one is and on and on! It makes me want to SCREAM!! I have always felt like nutrition plays a huge role in healthy living, and I think that it also plays a big role in staying healthy and not always getting sick. This past week I have been doing countless hours of research on that subject. I have been at a cross roads for a while about going organic (at least partially) and I have finally come to a decision. With lots of research I have found that with all the additives to milk, dairy, meats, eggs, and even fruits and veggies, it is no wonder we are always sick! I have found a few web sites that have great organic receipts and also that help you decided what are the top foods that you should change to organic and also ones that show how to go organic on a budget (something we need to do:) anyways I just want to share some of the information that I found. Wish me luck, it will take a while to change (because I do crave bad food from time to time ;)
Here are the sites I found:

Christmas lights

So this is a little out of order, but Neil put up the Christmas light, luckily before the snow! Payton was so excited about them. He loves when it gets dark out so we can go turn them on.

First big snow

The boys wanted to go outside with daddy while he was snow blowing the driveway. So we spent about twenty minutes getting all their snow stuff on. We went outside I took a few pictures and after about five minutes they were ready to come back inside. So we came in took about 10 minutes getting all their snow gear off. So thirty minutes of work for five minutes outside!!! Oh well I guess now they know that the snow is cold, so maybe they will stop trying to run out in it when ever the door gets opened:)

Gingerbread house

The boys did a great job makin their gingerbread house this past week. They had so much fun, but I think they liked eating the candy more then decorating the house!!!

Blessed

I wanted to post our new family picture and this super cute picture of my little cowboys. As I was adding these pictures I was overwhelmed with emotion. I know that I have been incredible blessed with my beautiful family, but I think sometimes I forget how lucky I truly am. Especially when it is one of those crazy days were nothing goes right, kids screaming, the house a mess, and countless other things. But when I look at these pictures I am reminded of how blessed I am. I have a wonderful loving husband, and two curious, healthy, sweet, loving boys. I think people just get so busy and worried about the little things that they forget all about the big picture. I could never thank God enough for my family! They are my life, the reason I get out of bed in the morning, the reason that even when things are not going perfect I still move forward. I am so blessed to be Neil’s wife and Payton and Noah’s mommy.
